2 Unforgetable Night in Staff Apartment

Today is the official night nY overnight in my BIG HOUSE.

It's really big for me because I used to roll on the floor in the day time. No furniture mah...

It's already 830pm after I settled all my works in office.

With an excited heart, I CLIMBED up the stairs and reached 4th floor with all my bags and stuff.

I could barely breathe properly when I reached the door.

I opened the door and tried to on all the lights because I was so scare to be alone during this chinese hungry ghost month.

Know what?

I heard a sound "pop" when I tried to on the lights in my master room. Whole unit became a dark hell that time!

I did not scream! I was shocked and voiceless!

After nY made a call to MMU Facilities Management Unit, two guys came to rescue me after they finish their prayer.

nY opened the door when someone knocked.

I saw 2 funny and 'dying' face.

Technician 1 : Wah! Stay so... high........ next.. next time rent... lower unit... *breathing hard with his hand leaning against the wall*
me : Sorry .. :p I have no choice.. this is the only unit available..
Technician 2 : Kami panjat begitu tinggi... lain kali tinggal bawah sikit dik..

They took almost 1 minute to balance their breathing.. nY curi-curi laughed seeing their cute faces.

They just on the main fuse back and everything went back to normal.

Then the 2 poor fellas went down after asking me to complain to their boss through online system.

What an unforgetable night in MMU staff apartment... Pity the 2 cute technicians..

Lately, I was busy marking reportS.

What I want to say is the students nowadays are not as 'kiasu' as we were last time. Most of them left the reports blank. It is a good news for me as I don't need to mark the blank parts but it is not a good news for our industry.

From full mark 5 marks, most of them got 0.65 only. For those 'copywriter', they definitely got a big ZERO.

Haih.. what happened to MMU students?

The more reports nY marked, the more upset I am. I even found some reports with the funny remarks.

This student left most the pages blank but he left me a note at the last page.

Then, while I was keying in marks, I saw some geng name like Aladdin, Osama, Bakang... Perhaps Alibaba, Peter Pan, Jack Sparrow and etc will be my students one day too...

Enough of playing around like a fool, enough of living a life like a student, enough of traveling around and wasting money...

After I ended my engineer life in Penang, nY already living like a student 'unconsciously' in MMU. My daily work is to teach, do research ( most of the time don't) ,sit in office and chat with students and perhaps hunt for some eyes candies in class/lab.

At this moment, nY feels that I'm not a real wo-'man'. I had been living like Peter Pan in my own Never land for 2 years +. I still think that I'm a student.

Whenever I meet my supervisor and co-supervisor in campus, I will hide myself. Not only me, some of my colleagues practise the same too. Why? It is because we don't do our work ( research) and always spending time doing something useless. :P Once, my colleague hid himself behind a pillar when his supervisor walked passed us. For my case, if my supervisor walks towards me, I will pretend I don't see him or shock until don't know how to react like the meow in the picture.

I'm not exaggerating. It is happening now. Kekeke

Since most of my ji muis already become a real woman ( getting married and forming a new family), I think it's time for nY to start working hard for my research too.

You all will become my witness, I will do my best to work for my research! I want to graduate asap. Yeah!

Please stop nY if you catch me watching drama again!

Thanks mr. rb for granting me my FIRST TIME to experience what is bitterness!

It's not easy to survive after working for few days of 10am-10pm shift under the freezing cold environment in one of the grand shopping complexes in klang valley.

I think even robot also cannot tahan standing from 10am-10pm for at least 3 days every week. Robots also will get overheated.

Needless to say, I got overloaded and overheated. My face was pale like vampire's bride, body was heat like iron, can cook eggs already. What to do? Earn $$$ mah!

Kind mr. rb beh tahan seeing me sick, so he draggedbrought me to Kwong Wong Tong, forced pursuaded me to drink Wong Lou Kat. He ordered one with chinese herbs powder for himself and one without powder for nY.

He told me that we must drink Wong Lou Kat ONE SHOT else ... HAHA

Ever since, I get addicted to Wong Lou Kat. It's one of my favourite beverages now.Thanks, rb!

10 Shojikiya Appreaciation Lunch @ Sushi ZanMai

After a long long working hours, finally is the time for us to sit down and have a proper meal @ Sushi ZanMai.

During the 'working' hours, we were only allowed to have a maximum break time of 40 minutes for 12 working hours.

Kekekeke.....We were intelligent robots for 12 days. nY even lost 2 kgs after 12 days of routine slimming session. Slimming santuary, Marie France, Bizzy Body also have to 'simpan kulit tutup kedai' already. Working in Syojikiya Fair is the best method to lost unwanted fats! =D One stone two birds, can lost weight while you are busy working hard to earn money!

ROAR!!!! ROAR!!! I want to blog all these out no matter how FATIGUE I am now.

I almost turn into lioness!

I was sick since one week ago and haven't recovered yet even at this moment. Yesterday couldn't sleep at all because I hardly breathe when I lied on bed. At last, I turned on my laptop and watched some of the make-nY-cry taiwanese dramas until the sun came out.

I only slept for 2 hours and then had to force myself to wake up b4 9a.m. because I promised my 'beloved' students to help them in their programming assignment. I was so so so sleepy while I was driving back to the boring city, Cyberjaya and kept slapping myself to keep myself awake.

KANASAI!

I reached my office at sharp 11a.m. I felt very paiseh when Dr. Lim asked why I reached office so late today.... kekeke.. *I always reach this early geh la *



After I located my butt on the comfy chair, here come the bees of students! The FLOW of the students was non-stop from 11a.m. until 4p.m. when my hero ( my sis) came to the rescue and brought me away from all the 'hustle and bustle' of the office. :P

I finally could have my yummy BREAKFAST ( ya! It's BREAKFAST) at 430p.m. and took a nice shower to relax myself.

I have another 30 minutes to rest before I headed back to office for 'second round'.

The flow was still there even it was 5p.m. Hmmm... MMU culture no good, always last minutes! Make me also wanna hilangkan diri last minutes!

The last student left at 7p.m. I thought I could finally REST IN PEACE but... MALANG TAK BERBAU!!! Itu Chin mia students requested me to debug the errors in their program at 730p.m.

You know what happened?

I think I could hear a exploding sound *DUUP* that time! KEPALA MELETUP!



I could feel that my face was very BLACK that time. I called Chin and almost wanted to scold people already. I screamed and shouted as loud as I can when I entered the car but yet couldn't release my TENSION after debugging more than 10 projects today.

I think I have to put a "On leave" notice on my desktop tomorrow to hide myself again! :P



Pals, it is not easy to become a good tutor and a good researcher at the same time....I finally understand why majority of the lecturers/tutors are SOT SOT dei one... :D

Busy! busy! Work! Work! nY is extremely busy lately. I've been pretty preoccupied... After the restructuring of management level in MMU and 'rise' of the new dean - Dr. Lee, my work load become at least 3x compared to one in previous year.

I have 4 to 5 midterm invigilations, has been assigned to become the usherer in an international forum in Hotel Nikko, being FORCED 'offered' to teach 2 new subjects in this semester , in charge of MMU Open Day as the only one usherer this coming Saturday AGAIN! (Till I can’t join a trip to Cameron Highland) :( *Sob sob* WHY? The dean’s secretary said it is because I am young and pretty! PUI!~

After complaining so much about the burden of the work load, I've also learnt that I have to accept the fact that I can't run away from it... I don't have much of an option, do I?

It's time to put this on my table d...

Yesterday, I received an even more 'astonishing' surprise! The dean assigned me to ACT (can you believe it??!!!) in a Malaysia Educational promotional video shooting by the Ministry of Higher Education without any EXTRA PAY! And… he wanted us to be in the office at 10a.m. early morning for the 30 minutes (drag till 2 hrs) shooting. Cheap cheap cheap labor!!!!! I wanna kill people d! Why me AGAIN!!!!! My name is always there in his forwarded email. What also kena me!! But jackpot and BONUS TARAK KENA LANGSUNG! @#$#%$^*&()

I WANT TO RELEASE THE TENSION! I've attended non-stop body combat classes so that I can kick and hit as hard as I could when I imagine I’m punching HIM like punching a PUNCHING BAG. *Evil* In addition to my illness, I've lost few kilos owing to this reason in just one week time. HappY!

Go back to the video shooting… A few LUCKY tutors (me, ck, ee and nisha) and lecturers are ‘invited’ to act too. The scene is about a bunch of Master students who is having class at the lab. Our baby-face lecturer–Bryan the handsome has to pretend that he is giving lecturing and consultation to the student jais (tutors). All the tutors had to act as if they were discussing the topics and in fact we were having some crazy talks.

The funniest part was that when we were having a view of students coming out from the class. The director shouted CUT when nY LOL when facing the camera. He claimed that we should look serious and not laughing…. But students usually hooray and laugh at the moment the lecturer says ‘CLASS DISMISS’ one mah… No wrong right? :D

Life being a Tutor...

nY had become a tutor for almost 6 months in both MMU and tuition centre. Hmm... how to describe the experience leh?? "No heart attack also can get heart attack..." Moreover nY is a perfectionist, chance of getting heart diseases is even higher. Choi Choi! Tu Hau Sui Kong Guo! What nY wanna say is... It is really NOT EASY becoming a GOOD tutor.

Let's begin with the F3 students. Oh ya, dunno why ALL my students are male. :D

Last week, they stacked up all the cupboard and water bottles behind the door like a Uno Stacko. Like the gaming rules, they left 30cm space for nY and asked me to pass through the door without dropping any of the bottles. They claimed that they won't pay attention if nY lost in the games. Luckily, nY tried to flatten my tummy by SUCKING in air. The second time they made the space even smaller, they looked die on me that nY couldn't SLIPPED into the class. They thought nY stupid ah... I learnt the "tummy flattening KungFu" when they were still in mama's womb leh! Those terrible students at last shut the door and pushed all those bottles towards the door, intended to block me from entering the class. Kek Sei betul!




Then, the schedule was followed by F1 science class.

Before the class started, they requested for a 10 minutes dinner break. As usual, they would go to the 7-11 to grab some of the buns, soda drinks and Maggie. After the fun fun mum mum session, one of the student BURP loudly. When nY stared at him, he said " ASS KILLS ME, teacher". The other students become very HIGH and keep on drinking the soda drinks to make the BURP sound and repeated the "CUTE" sentences. Geram!!!

After CALM DOWN the class, nY began the science class. Those fellas were not paying attention and started their WAR. 2 students keep punching and pushing each other.

Student A : Give me back my ruler!
Student B : No, it's mine!( imitating Mr. Bean funny voice)
Student A : No, it's mine!
Student B : TEACHER, he rampas my ruler!( imitating Mr. Bean funny voice)
Student A : If you said is yours, prove it!
Student B: Yea, is yours! ( imitating Mr. Bean funny voice)
nY : !@#@#$%^^& Wu Liao! Too free dy!



The ending? The students pretended to go toilet in a group and switched off the light. Here began the HIDE AND SEEK session! And nY always is the ghost who hunts for the children... Aih.... Cham bo?

Standard 5 students

Children nowadays are very brilliant! Small small already very hyperactive! They know how to make FART sound using their ketiak (armpit). They like to pull other's pants until the KKB come out. They are super happy 5 minutes before the class ends because they can start their PS2 games soon. Only act NORMAL and GOOD when mummy returns from work! Haha... Happiest moment in their life that time is TUITION CLASSES / SCHOOL cancel !!! Agree?

Come back to MMU students...

Among 40 students in the class, only 3 are girls in my tutorial group. Haha.. Dunno why!!???
There was a in-lab assignment last Friday and nY had to invigilate the lab. The closed-book assignment was on the spot with 2 students in a group. The duration for the assignment is one hour. Ngek! It's time to PLAY the students again. They were busy cracking their head to produce the program. Some students even forgot how to compile and save the program after 4 weeks of tutorials.

nY roamed around the class and tried not to help the students. Suddenly, a student shouted, " LengLui, can you come over? We need your help!"

Although nY was damm happY that time, I still acted fierce and said, " No extra marks will be given even you called me lenglui. Instead marks will be deducted!!!". Then the students were shocked and begged, "Teacher, don't be so cruel la. We know you very good and nice one right? ". Hey, they are 5 years younger than me and they flirted the tutor! Kanasai betul kan!!!


Therefore, nY must live a healthy life to overcome the " KekSeiness" given by my BELOVED students. nY must eat a lot of supplements and rest 99 to face the challenges everyday! Oh god, please let me live longer and healthier! :D

Anyway, nY still "loves" my students ALOT! Life being a tutor is really fun and challenging! XD
