Otak-otak (鲤鱼包) is a fish cake found throughout Indonesia. The southern Malaysian town of Muar is a popular destination for it. It is also known as otah-otah, otah or otak in Singapore. Otak means brains in Malay, and the name of the dish is derived from the idea that the dish somewhat resembles brains, being on the soft and squishy side.



If you are an otak-otak lover, don't miss this golden opportunity to try their otak-otak. It costs only RM0.60 per piece. The toast + kopi (RM5) and nasi-lemak special (RM8.90) are yummy too.


This cafe use the traditional items as their deco. You can even listen to the old Malays or Chinese oldies while you are enjoying your BRAIN meal.

You can find your childood memories in this cafe like the old kettle, wooden horse, old black tape, old recordings, old bicarbonate drink bottles, the candies that we used to eat as a kid etc.

I saw a bicycle that my grandma used to ride at the entrance of the cafe!
