*1st May @ A Famosa*

It’s 1st of May, Labor Day! nY is extremely Hoi Sum because nY doesn’t need to work! Ever since the ‘memorable’ adventurous trip @ Genting, nY and raY were keyed up to plan for another RELAXING-BUT-NOT-SCARY vacation to unwind our mind from the hectic working life. nY remembered that I bought a holiday package @ A Famosa few months back at Matta Fair (the same time when I signed up for the sucky FREE holiday lucky draw).

Hoho…The process of confirming the hotel reservation was smooth and successful. nY prayed that the coming trip wouldn’t be an HAUNTING one since it was not FOC de.

That day, nY slept till the sun beam hit my butt although I was rearing to go for the trip. It’s had been a long long time that nY didn’t have a proper rest since my 1st day teaching in MMU.

Nothing special incident happened on the way to the destination. We were worried as we got many complaints from Matta victims about the suckiness of the package bought from Matta. Bad bad Uncle Sim still teased me about the Genting trip and ‘wished’ me luck the day before nY set off to Melaka.

The journey from KL to A Famosa took about one and a half hour with approximately 130km/h. Hmm…. The buildings around the compound were quite old but not scary as Amber Court. Luckily the Resort hotel that we stayed was nice, clean and high-class. After throwing our luggage, the driver (raY) slept for 30 mins before we proceed with our food hunting journey. There are not many restaurants in A Famosa. There are only three choices which are Western steak house, Golf Terrace and a Chinese restaurant. The price of the ala-carte was not cheap so we decided to taste the buffet dinner at Golf-Terrace.

Believe it or not? There’s no one in the restaurant when we reached. Another dead town?!!! TAKUT!!! Tarak maintenance de! We didn’t care as our stomach already “Gi Gi Gu Gu” for a long time and we needed to rush for the show at Cow Boy Town at 8p.m. Overall, the food there was still could be eaten. The one nY liked the most was the cute desserts.

It looks so tempting !~

The next stop was the Cow Boy Town. nY expected to see many Yeng Jai Cow Boys there but…. I saw many dark dark and fat fat de Red Indians with big tummy at the entrance instead. Their faces were so cute! Some acted cute in front of the camera. Tak MAN betul, macam budak gila!

Welcome to A Famosa!~

Like the usual cow boy town that we watch from the movie, there are bar, lounge, disco, eateries in those old western rustic lots. Beside the rustic buildings, you could see shopping villages, kids’ Fun Zone, bowling alley, gaming centers etc. Visitors could take photos with the animals in the photography area provided, but NOT USING own camera. It’s not FOC de!

Pub & Disco!~

raY the bakchi CowBoy!

nY the furious Red Indian!~

The main attraction of the town is the ‘Red Indian and Animal Stunt Shows’. The red Indians very Geng Chou! They extinguished the FIRE with their hands. They swallowed FIRE and even vomitted FIRE like a dragon! SALUTE! Then, few red Indians gathered together and sang. Their song was mostly “U... U… U…O…O…O…” like typical sakai in the jungle. :O Why not “Yi BaYi Ba, Un De Leh Un De Leh” de ah?

Red Indian is playing with FIRE!~

The animals’ stunt show was officiated by a bunch of sexy Liang Mois. Then, the crowd was followed by crowns, elephants, Orang Utans, doggies, skeleton train driver, Big Nen Nen Ah Kuas and three SotSot de emcee.raY fell asleep during the performance due to the humid air and abit-Boring-de-Shows. Tourists roamed around the town after all the shows and played some outdoor games like Rodeo Bull, Bumper car and etc.

Highlight of the nite!~

Before we went to bed, our stomach were feeling very upset. Both of us had “FARTING COMPETITION” the whole night till we went into slumber land. Needless to say, it was the ‘contribution’ of the !@#%$^& + expensive buffet!

In a nutshell, A Famosa is a place that suitable for old couples to unwind or company team building/ function. Youngsters who like excitement should try the microlight but it is quite costly. Rich ah peks can go there play golf. There is a crocodile pond at the golf field. The daredevils that don’t fear of death can try to pick the gold ball when it falls into the pond. Sai lou jais can play water @ Water world or let animals see them @ Animal World.

Overall rating: 3.5 over 5 stars

The last words when nY and raY left A Famosa was “Bye Bye S*CK* Place, make us Putt Putt Putt whole night!” So kawan sekalian remember to bring your own food if you wanna stay there loh! Don't Putt Putt like us!
