Santa Hunt @ Singapore 24.12.06

nY got my very first international passport in March year 2005 but it’s so pity that I have no opportunity to have a stamp on it. I have to keep the passport in the safety box until spider man makes web on it. SobSob! However, the trauma ends when nY started the Santa Hunt mission impossible IV @ Singapore during Xmas eve.

On the departure day, when Mr. Sun still asleep, nY and raY already got our butt out from the bed early 5a.m. so that Santa did not notice about our motive. Since that time was the peak season to book transport & accommodation in Sg, we had to board by bus. Journey to the south was very long because the bus had to halt at different stations to pick up the passengers. However, luckily we had a very YokZhi tour guide, who called himself as Mr. Raymond Yong Meh Meh (sheep). He is damm hilarious and flirty guy. Even ah sums and ah peks also die in his hand, gila gila listening to his jokes and stories.

Enough about the tour guide, let’s talk about the flood at south Msia. nY thought that all of us have to swim across the flood areas to pass by Malacca and Johor. Anyhow, nY didn’t see any flood on the way there even it was raining cats and dogs.

The journey took around 6 hours. As usual, the tour guide brought us to some famous tourists spot in Singapore. The first destination was River Cruise at boatquay.

The next station was Night Safari. raY and I chose to stay in the hotel looking for ‘something else’, rather than go Safari to see blinking eyes. Forgot to tell … Our hotel is located in Lorong 12 Geylang- well-known ‘Pasar Malam” for guys. Geylang-best value of Singapore, where everyone can hunt for all kinds of tasty ‘FOOD’ such as wantan mee, curry chicken mee, AYAMS and etc.. At Geylang, you can see all kinds of pretty & sexy AYAMs standing beside brothels doing their “business” starting from 5p.m. everyday. According to Yong MehMeh, majority of those multi-racial AYAMS were imported from China, Malaysia and Thailand. Singapore government also doesn’t take any actions against the AYAMS since it's also one of the ways to boost the tourism of the country and reduce rape cases. Our bus was just stopped in front of the place where those AYAMS cari makan. All those Jingak MaLat Lou passengers’ eyes keep looking at those “pretty kaikai” while they were stepping down from the buses. Those wives keep staring at the hubbies. :D Know What? According to survey, those AYAMS can "handle" up to 6 guys in one night! Salute!!! XD Once you seen them with the first guy, after an hour you will see them escorting another old man. Advise to those young ladies; please don’t ever let your bf roaming around Geylang looking for FOOD ALONE at night! He might be MIA for the whole night and he would claim that his hp battery low when you couldn’t get him. :D And Girls; please don’t wear sexy dress! Those disgusting old men will think that you are one of those.

That night, nY & raY board a cab to go to Vivo City - newly opened heaven of shopping in Sg! nY gila seeing all the cute toys and delicious breads in the shopping mall. Basically, the price is reasonable if transaction from dollar to dollar. nY tak peduli.. bought many many cute toys while raY busy hunting for food to fill up his gigantic stomach! :D

On the 2^nd day, we forced ourselves up from the comfy hotel bed to start the Santa Hunt mission to place where papa Merlion stays- Sentosa Island. It was raining meowmeow and woof woof that morning. Anyhow, all of the tourists did not get unmotivated by the weather. I keep looking for Santa everywhere. Firstly I went into Images of Singapore because he might hide himself and pretend as one of the human wax.

:( But… he was not there! I didn’t give up; I proceed to Carlsberg Sky Tower so that I could views at 131 metres above sea level across Singapore, Southern Islands, right up to neighboring Malaysia and the Indonesian islands to look for the old man. Then I went to head of Merlion papa. Tee Kong YeYe very naughty, he made the sky cried the whole day. Therefore, we had to complete the mission under the downpours. *WetWet*

Roaming around all the tourists spots is not my main purpose of the trip. The most exciting and hot event that I waited eagerly was the Xmas celebration @ orchard road. The chance of meeting Santa Claus there was very high. ^^ Thanks to the kindness of our bus driver for sending us to Orchard! It was very difficult to go Orchard by public transport during that period.

Christmas is a very grand event in Singapore since majority of the residents are Christian. Walking along Orchard was just like walking in the heaven which full with shinning stars, Christmas trees and snow mans. Those teens and even old ah pek playing insanely spraying those white snow. Luckily the condition was under controlled by those lengjai policemen. XD Or else everyone would become like frosty the snow man.

There was a very special event @ Orchard where there was light hologram at the cross junction beside Paragon and Crown Hotel. The theme for the light presentation changed every 30 minutes. The 4 traffic lights would become red and everyone on the street were allowed to do whatever they like for one minutes without interruption of policemen. nY was amused by it and also dance like a bakchi with raY and some crowns.

Happy time passes so fast; It's time to say Byebye to Singapore dy. On the last day, everyone was busy packing their luggage and tried to fill all their victories from shopping arcade into the bag so that there wouldn't be problem passing the custom. According to MehMeh, we had to bring everything down from the bus except those tasteless water. All the passengers were so KanCheong because they bought many cute delicious water bottles. Mana tau.... When we crossed the custom, there was no one there. Not even one staff was there. Holiday ma.. Custom also holiday! Tour Guide mehmeh said that was not the worst case.. then he related that to his funny stories again..

>> Once he was the tourist guide of Penang. He had a tourist who came from Europe country. The tourist keep insisting on going to Snake Temple which is not included in the itinerary. The temple is approximate 30-40km from the town where they stayed. MehMeh also lazy to fulfil his wish because he has to take care of the whole tour. Out of no where, the tourist found a trishaw man who claimed that he could fetch him to Snake Temple with his 3 wheels. MehMeh was astonished and decided to follow them to check out the truth. After 10 minutes riding, the trishaw man said they had reached the so called temple. The NgongNgong AngMohKia went into the temple and he returned after 5 minutes. He asked the trishaw man where were all the snakes. Guess how the man answered him? Trishaw man:" Mr, today is public holiday! So all the snakes also go holidays already!" NgekNgek...

My mission is not completed yet. Santa not yet appeared in the whole tour. Out of the sudden, I looked beside me and I found the real Santa! HappY! Guess Who!
