What nY loves most about Hanoi is the weather! It's 12 degree celcius during our stay there.
It is supposed to be spring but according to the locals, the winter stricked back.
Besides, there are many many handsome guys in Hanoi too!!!!
The journey from LCCT to Hanoi airport ( Noi Bai) took about 3 hours.
My leng leng travel mates ( leng leng auntie gang) - Mummy, Uncle Sim's mummy and Xweing's mummy at the Noi Bai Hanoi arrival gate
Cool and wet scenery which we could see on the way to our hotel
Our hotel in Hanoi - Blue Star hotel
USD 20 for twin sharing
The place where I used to hang out when other travel mates were asleep
nY very first coffee in Hanoi
Old old shop lots in Hanoi
The owner of the hotel brought us to this place where they charged 80k ( ~ RM16) per pax for the smelly fish noodles. They wanna cut our neck! >.< Fried oily spring roll
We did not taste it as we left the restaurant after we failed to get a good bargain with the chef.
Oily meat cake soaked in the oil.
I think i will become super fatty if I ate this!
nY and mummy were sitting on the tiny stool while waiting for our cheap but delicious smelly fish noodles on the street. It costs us 10k VND ( RM2) per pax only.
Tada~ the Hanoi famous smelly fish noodles
The soup is purple in color :P
The smelly fish sauces- it is made from stale fish jais - that's why it is purple
The side dishes ( taufu, some herbs and the noodles)
We went to temple of literature after our break fast
The ticket costs us 5k VND per pax
Pretty daughter and mummy at the arch of the temple
Tour mates: (from left)Zhi Wei's mummy, Zhi Wei and Xweing's mummy
nY nY and Kong Zi
I prayed hard hard in front Kong Zi so that I can complete my master research
The cute cute dolls inside the temple
Old old tree
The entrance to the main temple
See! Uncle Sim acted cool
I took 3 -4 photos for him in the SAME post!!!

Nice! Gives me an idea about what y'all did in Hanoi when I was not there~
From the pic, Hanoi looks like a wetter, cooler version of Phnom Penh. But Hanoi looks more Chinese I guess, from the Temple of Literature photo.
\:D/
And the cencaluk looks really yucky........ OMG...
Xweing: Hehe... Next time we must go travel together de ah!
I really miss the times in Hanoi! It's so cool and r0mantic! How I wish I can pak tor with my future bf there again. XD
Which do you prefer, Bangkok or Hanoi?
I dunno... havent been to Hanoi yet but I think I would prefer Bangkok... more civilised... that's how I felt when I reached Bangkok after Phnom Penh.
Xweing : Of coz I prefer Bsngkok!!! I went to BKK three times and I will definitely go back again if god gives me the chance! :P
Hanoi is a poor country but it is full with the beauty of nature especially Ha Long bay! I miss it so so much!
