*Is there any U-turns in our life? *
Friends, have you ever regretted for doing/ not doing something until you miss 'something' which is important for you. Someone's YM status of "Any U-turns?" make me wanna blog about this issue. nY myself was regretted twice in my life. Even I regretted, I can't do anything more because I'm not that lucky to have a second U-turns in my life.
A student met me this morning regarding the academic advisory assessment. After chit-chat fo a while, he told me he is confuse and blur with his future. He said he doesn't want to become an engineer even he is studying engineering. When nY asked him why he took engineering in the first place. His answer was, " I have no time to think and choose what course I like. I just followed my brother's decision to enroll me in MMU." Did this sound familiar to you? :)
Some of my engineer friends had changed their career and some even further their studies in different field after they graduated from MMU. To make the decision to start over a new life, they need very strong determination and courage.
As for myself, I'm not regretting for taking engineering. But... I blamed myself for making the wrong decision. No matter what, nY has to bear the consequences myself because I was the one who MADE the decision.
So friends, please cherish what you are having now. When you are at the junction of making decisions, please think properly before you act. Don't listen to what others say. JUST FOLLOW YOUR HEART and 'DO' WHATEVER THAT WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY.
Good luck, dear ma jai.

I deeply agree with u.
Some ppl are just cut out for engineering, like leonard. he just interested in it.
Damnit. I shld hv go to study medic.
But how would I know whether i really interest in it or not b4 i really try it?
My god...
that time i also tot i'd like engineering...
So, why did u make decision to take up engineering?
I took up engineering because I want to become a professional. Compared to medicine, I prefer engineering and IT. Hoho... And that's the reason I'm 'goyanging' kaki in MMU. XD Anyway, I'm thinking to change field too... Coz engineer cannot 发达 one.. :P
can ah many engineers also 发达.
3com boss, nokia boss etc etc, many people also from engineering. Every field also got their 发达 people.
therefore bottom line lies in your true passion. With passion comes to conviction to do it , with conviction breeds the confidences to face the journey to success no matter how rough the journey is.
There is a chinese saying "every field also will produce scholar"
don't worry lah nyny you can 1.

hmmm ...actually it is not the wrong decision also lar .... since u sure would gain something from any decision u made ... one simple eg. after u have a trial...at least it's suitable for u or not ..:)
hmmm...when u feel that it is something wrong and the situation is allowing you to change the track or make a change ....just go ahead for the change ...
jika tiada, makin tua..makin susah buat perubahan ...hmmm we still have time to 'long piak' now ........
Engineer stilll can bring u $$ ...if u have the passion on it ....
gan dan lai gong .... to be $$$$$$$ one.....at least u are doing something that u are interested in it (hmmm ...lots of story about those rich/success ones (Li Kah Shing, Warren Buffet, Uncle Lim, Tony Fernandez..etc) that i had read/watched/listened also have this kind of similarity) ... they all also talked abt one word - PASSION!!!
PASSION! Thanks frens for the precious advices! nY will work hard hard de! I wanna buy big big house for daddy mummy! Buy many leng leng clothes for myself!
the advice for that junior is:
if he/she were in 1st/2nd year and he/she knows what he/she wants already. LEAVE!
if already in 3rd/4th year. finish engineering 1st and continue with a new life after that(like what i'm doing now).
if he/she were in the middle of 2nd and 3rd year, toss a coin or follow his/her heart.
